Privacy Policy
How KWANPA handles personal information when you use this website or contact the team. Last updated 6 November 2026.
Who this policy covers
This policy is published by KWANPA, which coordinates the practical side of international healthcare journeys. KWANPA is not a hospital, clinic, or medical provider. Clinical care stays with the healthcare organisation responsible for diagnosis and treatment.
This website does not ask you to create an account and does not include a contact form. The main way to reach the team is WhatsApp via the contact page.
Information this website handles
These pages do not collect details through forms, accounts, or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, to keep the site available and secure.
If you choose to message KWANPA, you decide what to send. That may include your name, phone number, where you are travelling from, where you are going, and a short description of the coordination you want. Please do not send detailed medical records, test results, or other highly sensitive health information in a first WhatsApp message.
How information is used
- To reply to an enquiry and explain whether KWANPA can help.
- To coordinate the practical journey you ask for, such as appointments, documents, travel, local arrangements, family updates, and follow-up.
- To keep records of what was agreed, including scope and fees.
- To meet legal, accounting, or security duties that apply to the work.
KWANPA does not sell personal information and does not use this website to build a marketing mailing list.
Health information is sensitive. If you share it so that a journey can be coordinated, it is used only for that coordination and for related administration. It is not used to diagnose, prescribe, or make clinical decisions.
Who information may be shared with
Information is shared only where it is needed for the coordination you asked for, where a service provider processes it on KWANPA's instructions, or where the law requires it. That can include healthcare providers, travel or transport contacts, and professional advisers, limited to what they need to know.
WhatsApp is a separate service. If you continue to WhatsApp, Meta's own terms and privacy policy also apply to that conversation. A journey may involve organisations in the United Kingdom and in other countries you choose. Details are shared across borders only as far as the coordination requires.
How long information is kept
Enquiry messages that do not become an engagement are kept for up to 12 months, unless a longer period is needed to complete a request or handle a complaint.
If you go ahead with coordination, records are kept for the life of that work and for up to 6 years afterwards, so follow-up, complaints, accounting, and legal duties can be handled.
Client records are not stored on this public website.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to limit or object to certain uses, and to complain to a data protection authority. In the United Kingdom, that authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). People in Ghana may also have rights under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
To make a request, contact KWANPA using the details below and say what you are asking for. You may need to confirm your identity before records are released or changed.
Children
This website is written for adults arranging a healthcare journey, including parents and guardians. KWANPA does not knowingly collect information directly from children. A parent or guardian may contact the team about a child's journey.
